The first challenge was education, since stem cells are a relatively new medical technology know as regenerative anti-aging there was a large section of the project dedicated to content development. We needed to educate potential customer where stem cells are derived from, how they are collected and the laboratory process for refining the final product.

The next challenge was to ensure that such a sophisticated product with a hefty price tag was seen by the right demographic. While social media was tempting, we opted for a more proven channel on Google. We created Google Local Places and Google Maps, and ran thorough search engine optimization campaign to ensure the presence on Google was dominant.

Finally our last challenge was marketing in Shanghai, China where stem cells are not “exactly” legal for anything other than research. We opted for the most saturated medium which was WeChat, which if you’re not familiar the standard for chat in China. We had to ensure that expensive trips to China would only payoff with plenty of scheduled appointments.

When working with cutting-edge medical technologies like stem cell therapy, content accuracy is critical. To ensure all educational materials were scientifically sound and legally compliant, we partnered with a medical content specialist experienced in writing for clinical and research-based audiences. While this involved a higher cost, it was essential to mitigate legal risks and establish credibility with a discerning, high-net-worth audience.
