Client: Jenny’s Law Firm
Location: Diamond Bar, CA
Category: Website Design
The client’s original website was built on the Wix platform, which posed immediate limitations in both design flexibility and performance. Initially, the firm requested a modern redesign within Wix. However, after conducting a thorough assessment, we determined that achieving a competitive, professional look—and making the site scalable—would be more cost-effective and efficient if rebuilt entirely in WordPress.
This presented a two-fold challenge. First, the site contained a large volume of legal content that had to be manually exported and reorganized. The original formatting lacked structure, making it difficult for users to locate key information. To address this, we needed to re-index the content, develop a clear navigation hierarchy, and implement a searchable table of contents to improve user experience and access to information.
Second, the content validation process required close coordination with the client. As a law firm, accuracy was paramount, and only their internal team could verify and approve legal language. Additionally, the original site included a proprietary translation tool for Mandarin-speaking users. This custom functionality could not be carried over from Wix, requiring a Mandarin speaker to manually review and retranslate legal terminology for the new multilingual plugin on the WordPress site.
Migrating from Wix to WordPress is never a straightforward, one-to-one process—particularly when using a flexible builder like Elementor. Wix content lacks structured formatting, and in this case, much of the existing site was not optimized for SEO. Automated import tools were insufficient, so a manual, strategic approach was required.
Our content development team took the lead, carefully transferring each page into a new, professionally designed WordPress template. During the migration, we optimized all existing images and converted them to modern file formats (such as WebP) to improve load speed and performance. We also added new visuals where needed to enhance page aesthetics and user engagement.
To support deep SEO optimization, we implemented a content indexing system and a searchable table of contents. This structure made the site easier to navigate for users and more accessible to search engines.
Once the site build was complete, we conducted thorough quality assurance testing to confirm that all pages loaded correctly and performed efficiently. We finalized the project by updating the firm’s Google Search Console and Google Business Profile to ensure proper indexing and visibility. These steps helped position the new website for strong performance and organic growth from day one.
The launch of the new WordPress website marked a turning point for the immigration law firm’s digital presence. With improved site structure, optimized images, and clean navigation, the user experience significantly improved, resulting in longer visit durations and lower bounce rates. Within just a few months, the site’s visibility in organic search grew, and Google indexed all key pages thanks to the structured content and integration with Google Search Console.
The client also saw a notable uptick in engagement, including a 30% increase in website interactions and a higher volume of qualified inquiries through the contact forms. The addition of SEO-friendly content, a searchable table of contents, and improved multilingual support helped position the firm more competitively against other legal websites in the area—especially in niche categories such as non-litigation immigration services and real estate investment law.
Beyond the technical success, this project reinforced one of our core values: long-term growth over short-term fixes. By working closely with the client and prioritizing accuracy, clarity, and performance, we delivered a platform that not only met their needs but also created a strong foundation for continued digital growth in a highly specialized and competitive field.
