Many of our customers are located in extremely competitive markets, this becomes all the more difficult when the client is in need of local customers only. Over the years we have seen our own competitors automatically rush a scenario like this into an expensive Google Ads campaign, simply because they do not have the depth of experience found at Affordable Marketing to help a customer gain traction in a competitive space without breaking their budget.
This could mean that we need to reduce the cost of the project, or find alternative ways to help capture new customers. Acquisition costs are a sensitive subject in any business, and even more so in a small local business. We had all of these factors in mind when we proposed the solutions for this client, which was to build a highly localized website to dominate the local space.
While this type of strategy is not always possible, having the depth of experience to know when it will work is one of the key values that Affordable Marketing brings to the table. We started by researching this clients competitors, we knew that beating the competitors started with building a better website. We developed a beautiful template with high quality images and modern design. We wanted to make sure that essential elements such as appointments, pricing and directions were clearly displayed and easy to find.
We got to work on the local aspect of the project by securing a local business place and a Google Maps listing, having done this hundreds of times made this part of the project a slam-dunk. Once we had the fundamentals secured we began creating content to reinforce the local aspect of the project.
Finally we added a shopping cart for customers who want to have a service provided but may bot have the time. This ensures that we capture window shoppers by adding a take-away product for them to provide their own service. This of course helps with revenue, and also adds a new email to the email marketing list of customers we know have already shown interest.
